Tuneesha completed her Bachelor’s degree (2nd Class Honours) in Psychology at HELP University, Malaysia, and her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). She is currently pursuing a full-time PhD in Clinical Psychology at UKM while working as a freelance Clinical Psychologist and Consultant Clinical Supervisor, supervising Clinical Psychology Trainees.
Tuneesha is well-versed in conducting psychological screening and assessments, including IQ testing, neurocognitive evaluations, and assessments related to various mental disorders. She adopts an integrative and eclectic psychotherapy approach tailored to the unique needs of each individual.
She also has commendable research acumen, having authored articles and presented at both national and international research conferences. She actively participates in forums and seminars centred on mental health issues and has made notable media appearances, contributing to discussions and discourse surrounding matters pertinent to mental health concerns.
Driven by a fervent dedication to the field of psychology, she endeavours to extend her reach to as many individuals as possible by fostering mental health awareness and delivering psychological assistance.
Humanitarian Work
Tuneesha is the Vice President of the Malaysian Invisible Illnesses Association (MIIA). Through this NGO, she actively provides free email and face-to-face psychological consultations, conducts mental health talks, and leads support groups for individuals living with invisible illnesses.
