Lucian is a graduate from Upper Iowa University (UIU) who obtained his Bachelors of Science in Psychology and Communications under the American Degree Program (ADP) at SEGi University College, Kota Damansara. 

In 2015, while studying for his bachelor’s degree in Psychology, he secured an internship with Mentem under the supervision of Matilda Xavier, Director and Clinical Psychologist of Mentem. During his internship at Mentem Psychological Services, he observed therapy sessions ( with client's permission) held at a free refugee clinic at A Call to Serve ( Kumpulan A.C.T.S) Malaysia at Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur. He gained a lot of insights and knowledge during this period and was always equipped with relevant questions regarding the therapy sessions and how to better assist individuals who go through similar circumstances. 

Apart from this, Lucian was proactive in providing marketing suggestions and ideas for Mentem’s social & digital platforms such as the official Facebook page, Instagram and website to bring about expansion to its visibility and engagement, which would in return broaden the network, and reach out to clients around the Klang Valley. Even after having completed his internship at Mentem, he continues to be an important member and now works part time to help with administrative work and marketing for the company. 

Lucian professionally teaches music full time now and provides lessons specializing in guitar and ukulele. His methods of teaching are unique compared to other music centres because of his application of psychological concepts to tailor lessons to a student’s capabilities, regardless of age. He aims to have his students simply enjoy and embrace music as an inspirational instrument providing a healthy environment for student to detach from the stresses of daily life and enjoy the moment.
