Eugene is a trainee clinical psychologist currently pursuing his Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Cyberjaya. Throughout his academic journey, he gained valuable experience working with clients facing a variety of psychological disorders in clinical environments under the supervision of experienced clinical psychologist. This hands-on experience has allowed him to develop a well-rounded understanding of mental health issues, and refine his skills in providing individualized care. Besides, he also has two-year experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). These varied experiences have provided him with valuable perspectives on offering tailored support to individuals at various stages of life.
Eugene’s therapeutic approach includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while he also also keens to explore other modalities such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). He is deeply passionate about creating personalized intervention plans for his clients, recognizing that each individual’s needs and experiences are unique. He firmly believes that mental health is just as important as physical health, and he is committed to support his clients in their journey toward emotional well-being and resilience.
